Need suggestions to tighten asteroid type game
 

I would appreciate the wisdom of the group on two items...

1. Smoother animation of the asteroids? Seems too jerky, and I suspect if I used a different method, I might get smoother motion.

2. I seem to have a bug somewhere in my world.Blaster method, where my laser randomly fires at asteroids....good for saving the earth, not so good for working as expected...

Can anyone suggest improvements?

Thanks to a great DrJim post on another thread, I changed the style to "abruptly" and got the smoother animation I was after....

Now, if anyone has any suggestions as to why my laser randomly destroys asteroids even when I don't click one (after the first wave)...

please help tracking down firing bug
 

Please, if someone could take a look and tell my why, after initially firing, I get random firing of my laser....

I call the laser once one of four asteroids is clicked on, and suspect something may be related to how I'm calling it...

Any suggestions gratefully appreciated....

Two things:
1. That isn't the most recent version.

2. I couldn't even find that problem. I waited for it after 100 asteroids and it never showed. So, I think your project is great and finished.:D But i may be wrong.
