Anyone have PS3?

I need somebody to play with, since all of my other friends are stuck in Call Of Boring, and sports video games. (why sports video games? GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY SPORTS. YOU'RE OBLIGATED TO DO IT.)

Anyways, on top of all that, do you have a mic for your PS3? if anyone has PS3, a microphone, Minecraft PS3, Modnation Racers, LBP, LBPK (LittleBigPlanet, LittleBigPlanet Karting), GTA IV, Twisted Metal, then let me know. It doesn't matter if you don't have the games listed, as long as you have a PS3, and a Mic, we can hangout. (Just don't bug me consistantly)

And if you don't have a PS3, or a Mic, you don't need to buy them. I'm not forcing you.

Sports games are fun. Anyways, what's your opinion on LittleBigPlanet? I've heard that it's a fun game, but I've never played it.

Funnybone 05-25-2015 08:40 PM

It is a really good and fun game. Building things is almost endless. It's a good game...

until United Front butchered it..

Funnybone 05-25-2015 08:41 PM

Also, you can play sports outside. Everyone is obligated to do it.

RavenOfCode 05-25-2015 09:20 PM
Also, you can play sports outside. Everyone is obligated to do it.
Its a trait some people have... its like some people like to follow sports a lot... some just find it boring...

Funnybone 05-25-2015 10:19 PM

Yeah, follow sports OUTSIDE.

x2495iiii 05-26-2015 05:54 AM

I play Monster Hunter on 3ds myself. That's multiplayer as well, if anyone here is interested.

I have a PS3 and mic, but none of the games you listed.
Also, you can play sports outside. Everyone is obligated to do it.
I like sports, but I'm never going to play in the NBA no matter how much I play outside. Not to mention it's fun for me to try out different scenarios with the video game that wouldn't occur in real life.

Funnybone 05-26-2015 02:30 PM

Games like Saints Row, and GTA allow you to cause crime in a city. You can't do crime in real life (well you can, but you need to face getting shot at by cops) and Sports games is something you can do outside. *sigh* Final time I am saying it. Moving on from the dumb sports video games please.

That sucks, hope you get the listed soon. (it can be any game)

Funnybone 05-27-2015 10:27 AM

Uncharted 3... //__-

x2495iiii 05-27-2015 11:48 AM

Yup. Campaign was fun, story was terrible, multi-player is excellent

On another note... how far are you in your sports game?

fourbros 05-27-2015 04:06 PM
On another note... how far are you in your sports game?
Taking a sabbatical. I messed up something along the way, and I would need to dig through it to find out what I got wrong. So I'm setting it aside for when I feel like doing alice for hours on end.

Back on topic, does anyone here have Skyrim for the PS3? I love that game so much:D

Funnybone 05-27-2015 10:05 PM

I do, but I don't play it much. It's better on PC. It's like Fallout, but with less things to do.

fourbros 05-27-2015 11:12 PM
I do, but I don't play it much. It's better on PC. It's like Fallout, but with less things to do.
Yeah, I've heard that it's WAY better on PC, with all of the mods you can get for it. And isn't Fallout basically Skyrim with guns (it is hard to believe that there's more to do in it, since there's a ton of stuff to do in Skyrim)

Funnybone 05-28-2015 12:47 AM

You just took what I said, but made it the complete opposite. Skyrim, has less. Fallout, has more.

x2495iiii 05-28-2015 04:49 AM
And isn't Fallout basically Skyrim with guns
I always felt that was an oversimplified comparison. If you played the earlier Fallout games, the isometric RPGs, then every item, every sound effect, and a lot of the characters have more meaning and depth to them.
You just took what I said, but made it the complete opposite. Skyrim, has less. Fallout, has more.
Explain.

Funnybone 05-28-2015 08:46 PM
Explain.
Ok. V
I do, but I don't play it much. It's better on PC. It's like Fallout, but with less things to do.
fourbros 05-28-2015 08:56 PM

I wasn't trying to twist your words at all, and sorry if you took it that way. I agreed with you that Skyrim is better probably better on PC, and that Fallout was like Skyrim with guns (something that X said was overly simplistic). Then I casually remarked that it was kind of hard to believe that Fallout has WAY more stuff in it than Skyrim, since I've been playing Skyrim for a while now and still haven't done nearly everything there is to do. People say stuff like this all the time.

Back on topic, has anyone here played Final Fantasy XIII on the pS3? I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Funnybone 05-29-2015 02:56 AM
And that Fallout was like Skyrim with guns
This one part is something I still don't get.

x2495iiii 05-29-2015 05:40 AM
Ok. V
"Explain", not "repeat".
Back on topic, has anyone here played Final Fantasy XIII on the pS3? I've heard a lot of good things about it.
I'd heard the new Final Fantasies weren't very good. Too much cinematic flair, not enough substance.

But then, I'm not exactly a fan of the series either.

Funnybone 05-29-2015 04:23 PM

I already did explain. You need to compare them.

He said that Skyrim was like Fallout, but with guns. I said Skyrim has less, he took that, made it the complete opposite.

Have you played both? I haven't played Fallout but Skyrim has a lot to do... also what does "has less" mean? Less weapons? Less plot?

Funnybone 05-30-2015 01:06 AM

Less things. And yes, I have played both Fallout, and Skyrim.

RavenOfCode 05-30-2015 07:16 AM
Less things. And yes, I have played both Fallout, and Skyrim.
Things isnt very descriptive... maybe use a better word? Things could mean pretty much anything?

fourbros 05-30-2015 10:57 AM
This one part is something I still don't get.
Well, Skyrim and fallout are both open-world action RPGs. However, Skyrim is high fantasy with swords and magic, while Fallout seems to be set in a steampunk or dystopian world with more modern technology like guns and phones.

x2495iiii 05-31-2015 12:38 AM

I haven't played Skyrim personally, but I've seen enough videos, read enough reviews, and had enough friends rant about the game, that I know for a fact that Skyrim has a lot more to it than Fallout.

The only thing Fallout MIGHT have more of is mods, because it's older and more people have had time to work on them.

fourbros 05-31-2015 10:33 AM

Speaking of Skyrim, I'd like to say that it's a lot more fun when you ignore the story. A lot of the time, I'll just explore the world, traipse through dungeons, and try to steal stuff in towns without being caught.

So, my personal thought had to be treated like it was a hate crime?
So, my personal thought had to be treated like it was a hate crime?
No, he simply disagreed with you. Sheesh, you always act so dramatic.

Funnybone 05-31-2015 07:21 PM
No, he simply disagreed with you.
It's my personal thought, why was disagreeing required over somebody's opinion?

fourbros 05-31-2015 07:42 PM
It's my personal thought, why was disagreeing required over somebody's opinion?
If someone told you that The Hunger Games was a much more influential book than Lord of the Rings, would you agree with that? Probably not, since LOTR created an entire genre. So you have your opnion, and they have their's.

Have you never disagreed with another person on a matter?

Back on topic: Hey X, would you agree that the PS3's graphics still look pretty good, even though they are outdated to some degree?

Funnybone 05-31-2015 07:57 PM

It's their opinion if THG was a more influential book than LOTR. I wouldn't disagree with it and start a major catastrophe, because I wouldn't be dumb enough to respond to an opinion and say "I disagree because it's your personal opinion".

Moving on, kindly.

Before i move on, I'd like to say that i'm not disagreeing with your opinion just because it's your opinion. Sorry if it came off like that. I'm disagreeing with your assertion that Fallout is bigger that Skyrim because I believe that the evidence proves otherwise.

Funnybone 05-31-2015 08:41 PM

Oh my go-- my assertion is my personal opinion. "I never disagreed with your opinion". >__>

RavenOfCode 06-01-2015 07:16 AM
Oh my go-- my assertion is my personal opinion. "I never disagreed with your opinion". >__>
Its not an opinion though... you made a statement that is not true... theres a difference...

Funnybone 06-01-2015 02:05 PM

So, you guys complain I go off topic, but you guys had posted, like, 9 or 10 SSB4 comments. If you want to fangirl over SSB4, go make your own thread.

x2495iiii 06-01-2015 03:29 PM

Done.

I think I'll close this thread too, because you're not an especially pleasant person and all the on topic posts were just pointless arguments anyway.

Cheers!
