How do I?

I'm having some troubles figuring out how to make a snowman tip it's hat properly. When using the 'move up' method, it's arm just detatches.

Do people just experience with things to find out how to make an object do what he or she wants? I'm a great noob to Computer Science because I've only done it for less than one month and..UHHHHHHAAH! It's so difficult to create methods!

:( Anyone know a book I could read or something that will help me understand how to do methods etc better?

I use the one from the creators of Alice.
You can see the cover and get information here.

Hey Myo, I'm taking a class on Alice and we're using a book called "Programming with Alice & Java". Methods aren't too hard, its just like the regular programming. I do know what you mean bout the arm moving. I was trying to get a character to pick something up, but instead his hand flew off. You just have to experiment with moving the body parts. Mostly turn and roll the arms to get them to move where you need to.

Hope it helps,
Danny
