Multiple views of a world running at once in real time.

Multiple views of a world running at once in real time.
Basically several alice applications open at once, running worlds at once, the worlds communicate with each other and make actions happen simultaneously.

This runs on a master and slave system, where one world controls the rest, but it could easily be changed so that all worlds can communicate together.

You can have as many slave windows open as you want (too many will slow down proccessing speed, and cause communications between the worlds to have delayed reactions), there can only be ONE master, as several masters open will display different things.

This sends a string between worlds to change 3d text, but it could be used for anything.

With thanks to x2495iiii and zonedabone

By real time, I dont mean exactly real time, just close enough to work.
Oh, and I think this only works on Windows, I don't know though.

download both files, the master controls the slave, click the text to change it.

Really? That's fascinating! Who would've thought this stuff was possible on Alice?

Very cool.

Well i thought it was possible but never did it until King Gamer encouraged me to start thinking about it

How about crediting zonedabone, whom you took the script from?

I have to say that this is pretty awesome. I would love to see this implemented into telling the coordinates or movements of an object.

I tried to, but it failed

I tried to in a reply to x2495iiiis reply. I tried to credit , for his forums that introduced me to jython and then you, zonedabone, for your wikia and the savegame world that I based it off, but I got this:
Posting error:(

Anyway, I didn't steal your code, I adapted it and done work of my own, leaving it open so anybody could adapt it further to make objects change colour, move, etc.

Anyways, the posting error isn't happening anymore, so look up and you will see your name.

No Offense

But I see no point in this other than its several worlds showing the same things. I beleive I had already shown how alice could comunicate with another world running in my speed test worlds. But whtever it doesnt mater as long as people realize the jython potential.

that still means you did not do it. So people are working off of your thing but it is pretty much zoneabone's. Like my Fps aiming system. I made that but completely modified the origonal code. I had to give a little credit for the code. But now its my own code so im good now

I wouldn't say that. Your jython code is an exact copy of mine. It even had references to variables that didn't exist, because you copied the read and write code to each world. The slave world runs in an IDENTICAL manor to my world!
