Alice Community - NullPointerException Error

Using Alice 2.2 under WinXP, Java 6 ver. 24.

Two different students, two different projects. Same error pattern:

I had some permissions issues previously and discovered that I needed to give the students "Modify" rights to the Alice folder in Program Files. These errors remain.

Any suggestions?
