Is this at runtime or not?

If it is at runtime: you can't delete it, you need to use the SetActive (I think thats what its called) in the properties tab to turn it off so it doesn't interact. Or opacity if you still want it to interact.

If it is not at runtime: just right click the object in the object panel and click delete, or drag the object from the object panel into the trash.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
