Well I'm sorry I can't be of much help due to my lack of experience. (12 years of life isn't much to go by) I think the most productive way to do it would be for the school have a wireless folder that they could connect to through the network. There you can have each student click on whatever you put in there, or have them just copy the program itself out of the folder.
In short:
1: Place file on network folder
2: Go to each individual computer and open the folder
3:
Copy to desktop
Note: make sure it is not a shortcut or else the entire network will be slow trying to open Alice 23ish times.
