How do I make the alice3 run screen stop freezing?

Every time I am trying to run my alice program the run screen locks up and I cannot close it and with not being able to close it I cannot use task manager to get it off Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? I am running in windows 10 with an i3 computer. And on my school computer which runs windows 8 and this has occurred multiple times on both.
