Alice 3 - How do I drop a Dummy at the Camera? -

So sorry if this has been answered already - but I get an error when I try to search this forum.
How do I drop a dummy marker in Alice 3? In 2.2 it was in add objects, but I can't find it in Alice 3. Any help is greatly appreciated. I want my students to use Alice 3 in a few weeks and I need to resolve this.
uhmm i cant really help you on that but do you really need to be using 3.0 anyways??? its still beta and has many many many things wrong with it! maybe check the bug list for 3.0 and see if there is no drop dummy at camera. i suggest that you use 2.0..
sorry for the lack of help... but i guess this answer is better then nothing
Has anyone figured out how to set markers yet? Is this a feature that just isn't implemented yet? Is there a list of things that aren't implemented yet in v3?
Well, to the best of my knowledge, there's no REAL dummy objects method, you have to do it the old fashioned way, by setting up processor-friendly objects (like cones) in the positions you desire, then having the camera set it's position to those objects.
I wrote an example (which I have to zip up to post, even though it's only a measly 35kb) which demonstrates three different objects (cones) turning invisible and the camera moving to those objects to get a different point of view of the building.
I have to advise you though, Alice 3, though VERY cool, is not ready to be used by a class of learning students. The clincher to me is the fact that the undo function doesn't exist yet. I can understand not being able to edit the scene very well outside runtime, that's fine, but not being able to take back common human errors is a major turnoff for me.
