Default Texture Mapping problem. - 03-06-2009, 03:32 AM

I need to map a JPG on a "circle". But it seems it's not map properly.

The attachment is my problem. I have set the texture of the "circle" to 500 (the graph i need to show in on the "circle"), but it doesn't show properly.

Anyone can help me to map it.

It seems very hard to understand how texture map on the object.

I really can't say why the mapping to a circle doesn't work - but clearly it doesn't. I suggest you either map to a sphere or to a billboard (see attached). If you want a clean circle on the billboard, you'll have to use .png format with transparency.

First thanks for you helping.

I know billboard can do it, but the problem is the billboard always set the center to the bottom, and I want the center sitting right the "real center".

Luckily, I have solve the problem by using Google SketchUp.
