How do I create a new method?

I am doing a project with my uncle. He is an engineer. I want to know what a method is,how to create a new method and how to teach it to the character.

1. Select the character you want to "teach" a method to.

2. Under "Methods" select, Create New Method.

3. Give your new method a name.

It will then create a place for your new method in the main code area. Click and drag code into here as usual, but remember that this is just one method.

When you're done with that, you can then call that method in the world.my first method area, or link to it with events, etc.

Do they have to learn how to do it?

If you mean, "Do the characters have to learn the method?" then I would say yes, but when you click and drag the directions into the method you're pretty much teaching it what to do....
