I chose the PP1.1 as my project using the penguin to disappear in the grey circle. When I was creating the world, I had trouble with the grey circle. I first picked the snow background then added the frozen lake then circle. The circle kept appearing under the ice. I played around with the properties under the point of view which moved the circle on top of the frozen lake. I was not quite sure how to make the penguin disappear. I first chose to roll and found out that did not work then i chose to move forward with.5 revolution and it worked!! It was pretty cool.

Congratulations on completing the penguin lab. I had a problem with it and decided to move on. I think I concern myself with the little bits too much that things tend look complicated. I'm working on that aspect of me.

I had similar issues, and used a similar solution. I think it's a good exercise to get the hang of some of the basics, like object positioning and basic methods.

Looks like you're all still having fun. Using Dummy objects, and manipulating vehicle properties can also be useful.
The attached world uses these to accomplish a simple dive.
1) Run it once to check it out.
2) Now drag the penguin to another location, and run it again to see the result.

3) If you like it, then my challenge to you is to build a jumpOut method that lets the penguin jump back out head first, and land on his feet in the same spot from where he jumped in. It Works for me

Warning: You are going to have to do reorientation, vehicle swapping, to make this happen. And don't forget to restore positions and vehicles, so he can jump in again from a different place if you move him in the program.

Cool when it works in my version 02. Give it a shot. PLEASE
