Default Smoothing poses - 06-15-2012, 04:49 PM

I was wondering If there was a way to smooth poses so it looks more realistic. Here is an example of what I want to smooth out:

It's not that the poses aren't smooth, it's usually the timing that makes an animation all that much better. Usually I fiddle around with the duration, style of the pose, and in some cases add a little pause for effect.

Have you tried changing the style from "gently" to something else?

Yes. Still doesn't work.

Maybe adding some in between poses for two poses that have the arm going through the head? And keep them at the same pace, I.e. 0.5 sec and abruptly for both so it takes 1 second to go from pose 1 to pose 2 and still make it look smooth?

ps. I edited your world a little to show what I mean.

I might try making my own little samurai animation thingy.

I got inspired by beachbum's animation to try out making a samurai animation.

Took about 2 days
