Q1: Who has the world record for the most patents? (1)
A: Kia Silverbrook?
Q2: You have a yard that is 10 feet long and 30 feet wide, bordered on one of the 30 foot sides by your house. You need to buy a fence for that yard to keep your dog in and your weird neighbors out. Sections fence cost $20 for every three feet of fence you need. How much will it cost you to fence your yard? Or is this a trick question? (3)
A: You're using some tricky logic. It is a trick question! I answered one half!
Q3: You now need to paint your fence. Your fence is five feet tall. If a bucket of paint will cover 10 square feet and each bucket costs $15, how much will it cost to paint your fence? (Note: you only need to paint the side that faces inward, towards your yard. You don't care about the side that faces the weird neighbors.) (3)
A: DITTO
Q5: Solve this riddle
"A beast which fights invisibly,
subdues all creatures easily,
hastens as its prey tries to flee,
a precursor to death, you see."
(4)
A: The angel of death.
Q8: What process revolutionized America (and quite possibly, the world) by making steel much easier to manufacture in the mid 1800s? (2)
A: Bessemer process if you must be so specific...
Q11: What is the most effective ingredient in most energy drinks? (1)
A: Depends. Red Bull has caffiene and ginseng, while Gatorade has electrolytes. Of course, red bull is more of an energy drink, so caffiene.
Q12: What is a phytoplankton? Be specific. (2)
A:
Phytoplankton are the autotrophic component of the plankton community. The name comes from the Greek words φυτον ( phyton), meaning " plant", and πλαγκτος ( planktos), meaning "wanderer" or "drifter". [1] Most phytoplankton are too small to be individually seen with the unaided eye. However, when present in high enough numbers, they may appear as a green discoloration of the water due to the presence of chlorophyll within their cells (although the actual color may vary with the species of phytoplankton present due to varying levels of chlorophyll or the presence of accessory pigments such as phycobiliproteins, xanthophylls, etc.).
Q13: Who called the Constitution a "frail and worthless fabric?" (2)
A: Alexander Hamilton
'Apple Macintosh' - An anagram of 'Complaints Heap'
M.A.C.I.N.T.O.S.H. - Machine Always Crashes, If Not, The Operating System Hangs.
You're *such* a mac person.

A: Kia Silverbrook? Nope.
A: You're using some tricky logic. It is a trick question! I answered one half! Prove it can't be solved and the points are yours.
A: DITTO Double ditto.
A: The angel of death. I consider that synonymous to death in some cases. The fourth clue is intended to distinguish the solution from death.
A: Bessemer process if you must be so specific... There you go!
A: Depends. Red Bull has caffiene and ginseng, while Gatorade has electrolytes. Of course, red bull is more of an energy drink, so caffiene. Not quite. Gatorade isn't an energy drink, it's a sports drink, like Powerade and Propel. Red Bull is on the right track, but there's something most energy drinks have besides caffeine that give them such an effective boost.

Just about as specific as you can get! Nice.

Q1: Thomas Alva Edison
Q2: I'm not sure how this could be a trick question, and I would say $333.33 for a 4 sided yard, but you did not state how many sides there are to the yard, so I cannot be precise, nobody can.
Q3: Well - question 2 needs confirmed first; but presuming all is well it would be $375
Q4: solved
Q5: ?? - I have no idea, it could be the devil, but this relies on religion.
Q6,7,8,9,10: solved
Q11: glucose, a form of sugar.
Q12,13: solved

Not Edison. In fact, he only had just over 1000, and many of them were ripoffs of other inventors. He was a disgrace to inventors everywhere (in my opinion).
I gave two dimensions and suggested that there were at least two 30 foot sides. Are you saying more than one geometric shape can fit this description?
It doesn't rely on religion at all, actually.
Guarana, bingo! That's the winning word! Thank you arty!

However, because you've served me well up to this point, I will let you choose the method of your demise." What should you respond? (2)
Q14: What is the name of the main villain in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune? (1)

I know you are saying it is square; but consider this - you did not mention it was a regular geometric shape ... therefore, although this is stupid, observe this picture please

Since I said "one of the 30 foot sides," indicating that there is more than one side that is 30 feet long, your diagram does not describe a possible configuration of the yard. Good thinking outside the box, though.
