Default Making the rotors move continously on a helicopter - 11-29-2011, 04:03 PM

I need to be able to make four helicopters lift off (rotors continously moving) and fly in formation. How can I make this happen?

You can add a "turn at speed" and set the subject to the rotor. Then you can go to change the duration, click "other" and type in infinity .

I have mostly moved on from Alice, but may still respond to messages if important [¬º-°]¬

Here's another way of doing this.

Write a method to get the rotors to turn. One revolution will be enough. Adjust the time so that it turns at the right speed. Set the style to abrupt.

Then call this method in a "while something is true" event. You'll need a boolean valued variable that you set to true when you want the rotor to turn. Attached is a simple demo. Press the spacebar to toggle on and off.
