Short wizard/troll fight.

Okay here is my first assignment in the intro class I am taking. It is not a game, but merely a short storyboard of a wizard and troll fighting.

Things I wish I knew how to do better:

1. Fade the world to black at the end. I was setting the light, the world and the troll to black and turning down ambient lighting and anything else. It sort of worked, but is there a standard way to fade to black?

2. When the wizard did magic, I made the ambient color of the world go orange, which sort of worked. I would have loved to do a halo or something around the troll. Anybody ever done something like that?

3. Finally, it seems that 'turn' works best for moving the limbs of creatures. Telling them to 'move' seems to make them fly off of the body, correct?

Nice scene. Watching it gave me some great ideas for my next bit. Should have watched it before doing my assignment.

nice post, i got some new ideas from it as well, how did you get the wizard to disappear like that in the end?

well he made the wizard move down and made it change its opacity
