Default school holiday: is there a home course? - 02-19-2009, 06:46 AM

Hello,

I'm in joburg, South Africa, so please let me know if there are any course available in my area. If not:

I learned a love of programing from an 8-Saturday 'Commodore 64' course when I was in primary school My son is now in grade 9, is Office 2003 certified, but knows nothing of programming, like many computer users of his generation. I want to give him an opportunity to explore programming before he chooses his subjects for gr10-12. Alice seems to be what I'm looking for. I will have a 3-week window of opportunity during his mid-year holidays to get him involved and in-love with programming. Can you please help guide me? All I want is to give him an intro to programming, and programming logic.

regards
Xcal

Default School holiday or extracurricular - 02-19-2009, 09:47 AM

Hello I am in Brussels Belgium. I am looking for the same kind of thing either for remote learning or an instructor here for extracurricular or holiday learning. I am responding to your message because I am new to forums and figure it could help both of us.

Stydney

PS: Lets hope it helps
