Default Thank Carnegie for Alice! - 12-20-2014, 01:21 AM

I'm working on writing college apps right now and Carnegie Mellon wants to know why I am so interested in Computer Science. This reminded me of this community because Alice was my first real exposure to the wonders that code can do.

I just wanted to come back and thank all the awesome people here (Looks like I still recognize some people!) for everything you did to help me learn to love coding. Alice literally changed my life, pushing me down the road to where I am now, hopefully getting into an awesome school for CompSci!

Peace,
Zonedabone

P.S. Sorry for never releasing Alice Word 2010, in case that means anything to anyone. Reviews of the former version weren't too favorable anyway.

You're *such* a mac person.

I remember some of the work you posted. You were a great member for the community just like x and arty. I can definitely relate to how Alice exposed me to many things that now have helped me in my career and advanced my studies. Great to see you give a throwback to the community zone.
