I've been getting this error on EVERY save for ANY project. I downloaded a completely new Alice from Alice.org and still get the same issue. What's the deal? I have a due date to meet!

Are you trying to save your worlds to a network drive? Maybe Alice doesn't handle that so well.

No, but I am saving to a flash drive. And I've been doing this for a while and this problem only turned up recently...

EDIT: And Alice itself is on the same flash drive so that it will only have to save to its own drive.

EDIT 2: I've also later found that when I get this error, there actually is no error. It throws an error, but when I close Alice and start it up again, the project loads without any issue, and is fully intact with no changes.

I'm glad it's working for you, even if it throws an exception in the process. I have had similar errors where it says it can't do something and then continues on and works OK.

So I should go about my business and ignore the error? OK. In that case I will.

This is something that often happens in Alice 2.0. "Error" messages are often just warnings - rather scary when it happens and things still work.
