Yeah- That was obviously the first thing I decided to try, most likely just to see if it would actually work. The result gave me the incentive to play around a little more. Once I observed the fact that the numbers are being converted in background, I saw new possibilities for simplifying coding. Also, maybe a little closer to Java String Concatenation?
The code that breaks older versions, probably wouldn't have worked with the older versions anyway.
