Assignment 2

I completed the project containing the lunar lander with the alien greeting . The project itself was fairly simple; once I managed to control the speed of the lander, as well as selecting a Do Together code to ensure that both aliens approached it simultaneously, it was simple enough. The only aspect that posed a challenge was the action of opening the door. There was no specific command for that, so the closest approximation for me was to move the door downward, until it disappeared into the surface of the moon.

Opening/closing a door does sound like a challenge, at this point in our learning.. I'm impressed that you were able to make it happen by using some of the controls that you already knew.

If I can find a good Alice link for how to get a door to open or close, I'll try to remember to post it here. :-)
