The CS2N is hosting a free animation competition for Alice.
Deadline for submissions is

Theme: "Save the World in 60 Seconds!".
If you could create an animation up to 60 seconds to tell people how to protect the planet, what would you create?
You may use any version of Alice. We have tutorials for Alice 3.
Winners will receive free copies of ROBOT-C.

Requirements- The animation must be an Alice file.
- The animation should NOT have any interaction (the user must be able to view the story by only clicking Run)
- The animation should be between 30 - 60 seconds in length.
- No copyrighted material may be used. (Learn more about copyright laws at http://www.loc.gov/teachers/copyrigh.../text/reading/.)
- Only one animation may be submitted per user.
Judging Criteria
Your submission will be evaluated on these criteria:
- The submission precisely meets the technical requirements and aligns with the theme (recycle, reduce, replenish, restore, reuse, etc.).
- The submission contains three parts of a story (beginning, middle and end).
- Animation timing is appropriate.
- The background and set support the story and are interesting.
- Most procedures have a logical purpose, with explanatory comments that are easy to understand.
We also require
Peer Review, meaning you will evaluate and provide helpful feedback to other contributors in order to qualify.

About the CS2N:
CS2N is a joint project between researchers at Carnegie Mellon, the University of Pittsburgh, and Carnegie Mellon’s Robotics Academy. The project is sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) with the goal to inspire more students to study Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics the tools of innovation.
