Unhappy Please help! Need help with user input - 12-14-2010, 07:51 PM

Ok, VERY NEW TO THIS I'm working on a school assignment, you have to have 3 characters and ask the user which one they want to dissappear, Alice, Cheshire, or Rabbit. I can get the question to pop up, but I can't figure out how to have what the user inputs determine what the program does next. I can't figure out how to have the data actually input/what type of paramaters/variables should I use?
PLEASE HELP

THANKS SO MUCH

try storing the user's answer in a variable ie.
answer set value to ask user for...

I am not sure how you are going to store the users guess when you are dealing with objects though.
You can try having the user click an object, then have the object under mouse cursor disappear...

How about posting the file? I'll show you how it's done by adding comments to it, and posting it back here. I am new to the forums, but I have been using Alice 2.2 for some time already (about one year, plus I took a class on Alice 2.2 over summer vacation).
