Opening a Alice saved file.

How do I open a file I created in Alice? I saved the file with the .a2w extension. Yet when I try to open it I get a message to go to a web site for answers or select what program to open in. I'm really frustrated because I'm in the middle of a homework assignment and can't open the file to finish it.

from inside the Alice program go to - file > open
