I did PP1.2 which was making a combination lock spin and unlatch. This was a little bit more difficult than the first one but it was still fun and easy. The hardest part was adjusting the amounts to get it to go where you needed it to be.

How about a challenge for your class and teacher?

1) Assume that dial starts at zero.
2) Have the Lock ask the user for three numbers.
3) Make the dial do the combination, and then unlock.

Advanced challenge:
1) Make the dial spin past zero twice before stopping at first number.
2) Reverse direction and make the dial spin past first number once before stopping at second number.
3) Reverse direction again, and turn to last number.

Just finished the combination lock project, easiest way to figure out how much to make the dial roll is to think of it in parts. Each number is an 8th, 10= 2/8 or 1/4. Then just count backwards the same way.

Including the zero, there are 40 different possibilities.
