Which Alice book to buy?

Hi all,

Just started using Alice, our teacher has advised us to get the 'Exploring Alice' book for the class, are there any other helpful Alice books I should know about, preferably ones with some step-by-step examples?

I am teaching Alice for the first time myself and to two classes of high school students. We have found the Alice 2.2 is better than 2.0 so I bought Learning to Program with Alice-latest book available. Some kids love it the others are kind of lost. I am trying to learn along with them and we share tricks we stuble on or find from emailing people.

Does any one know which textbook would be best if I am teaching an 8th grade class? I don't want to get one that is too difficult, but I still want something indepth and challenging.

Learning to Program, regular edition works pretty well. It doesn't cover everything, but it's very easy to follow. The student may have to be resourceful and fill in a few gaps themselves, though.
