Default Return to Position - 10-17-2010, 08:27 PM

I know how a pose returns the parts of an object, but how do I get the entire object to move back to where it was.
I wish to have a man move forward "distance to door" and then move that same distance backwards. How can I do this? Thanks!

You could create a dummy object, and before the code to move the man towards the door, you can set the position of the dummy object to that of the man with a duration of 0 seconds. Now once you want the man to move back to his previous position, you can set the man's position to that of the dummy object. The dummy object is just like a placeholder position.

The dummy object options are under more options in the object creation screen.
