Unable to open Alice 3 in MacBook

**Unable to open Alice 3 in MacBook -** 01-28-2011, 12:15 PM

Hi everyone!

I searched the forums but could not figure this one out. I run a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.5.8. I run Java J2SE 5.0 with the latest update. When I click on the Alice icon in the Alice 3 folder, the icon will briefly appear in my dock then the program crashes and it closes. It will simply not start up. I installed Alice 3 twice, once online and the other I downloaded then installed, but that didn't help any. Advice??? I'm a teacher and I'd love to try my hand at 3 after making some games with 2.2.
