The light

So I chose to create the pp1.2 world and I thought it would be easy to jazz it up a little bit. I added the wand object as a way to make sense of a lock that turns itself. I wanted to make the background look as though an alarm had gone off with flashing red light- I tried to change the color of the background alternating from red to no color but nothing happened. I then went into the light object and changed the colors - still nothing happpened..

Try going to the worlds properties and change the ambient light color to red

OR there is a Lightbulb object in the gallery somwhere.
