Default Lab 1 - Einstein's Formula - 06-27-2018, 12:35 AM

Hey guys -

I am supposed to build a world that contains a person who can calculate Einstein’s formula e=m*c2 in his or her head, and where the user enters the m value (mass in kilograms), and where c is the speed of light (299,792,458 meters per second).

I'm supposed to only ask the user for the mass (because the speed of light is a constant). I'm supposed to define descriptive variables for each quantity, and use the World function "a rasied to the b power" to compute c2.

I hate to ask for help, but I'm confused. What am I doing wrong?

I'm more of a visual learner, so if you could provide me with any examples or screenshots of what I'm supposed to be doing, it would be much appreciated.

Here is a screenshot of my method in Alice: https://image.ibb.co/fpEi78/Einstein_1.jpg

Thanks.

Well, don't be too afraid to ask for help here.
First, I may recommend adding a new variable, e. The rest is demonstrated on this screenshot.

Thanks for your advice, sometimes618.

Here is a screen shot of my updated method in Alice: https://image.ibb.co/gtm5po/Einstein_2.jpg

I feel like I'm still doing something wrong or leaving something out. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Are the M,C, and E variables supposed to be "number" variables?
