Default Moon landing animation? - 04-30-2011, 08:28 PM

want to create a moon landing animation for my project(lame I know but I suck at Alice)really want to make it look good, any tips for doing so? I plan on startin tonight or sunday night. I want to have it start off in a earth background with the shuttle lifting off, then the next scene shows it landing on the moon with a man coming out. I hate being one of those people who asks for help but these forums have been the more helpful one I ever joined

I'll research it, and give you any help I can. If you want, I can even make a basic template for you to use.

well to start off with, you want to start off at Earth, so you would want to just set up a setting of what you want earthe being depicted as(two main ways i see of doing this is using the globe model in the object list that is in the local lgallery of items, or you could do the set up of using the grass template with a shuttle lifting up off the ground, use "move" up to make it look likes its going up, then ect..) just set the opacity to zero for stuff you don't want seen at a certain time and have it set to 1 when you want it seen, and add the objects as appropiate to make it look like it is traveling through space.

If you are stuck on a project, check out the tutorials I made here at this link:

If you want to add a little science fiction to the animation, I have a model of a UFO.
