i am very new with alice and i am having problems getting my jet to takeoff if someone could help me that would but great

Not sure what the problem is - looks like a standard "Roger Roger - Vector Victor" takeoff to me.

If you want it smoother, put the "move forward" and "move up" statements in a "do together" block and set the style to both to "abruptly." The latter will make the speed constant during each move rather than speeding up and slowing down - hence the steps in the loop won't be as obvious. (Strangely enough, the "abrupt" style actually creates smoother movement in cases like this.)

I think you have to use parameters. Check the sample world Almost All About Alice.
