Default dice - 12-02-2009, 03:15 PM

hi,
I am looking for a dice that, unlike the one in the previous post, has a yellow box around it that is aligned the same way as the dice itself. if u open the dice from the previous posts, u can see that the dice is turned some degrees left and up compared to the yellow box around it. can someone pls find me or make me the dice that i need?

Default please explain more - 12-03-2009, 10:24 AM

thanx for the help so far, but can you please explain some more about adding the extra object? I added a cone in the center of the dice and set the dice to be the vehicle of the cone. now when i try to roll or turn the cone, the whole dice and box around it moves the same way with it, so nothing really changes. do i need to change any other settings to make it work? or if anyone can find that dice, im happy too, because i cant find it in the forum

So, you have a world where the placement of the invisible bounding box, not the actual visible object itself, has an effect on the rest of the world? If that's the case, then I guess you'll have to find the other dice in the forums.

Also, when I typed dice into the search box, the post with the dice in it was the fourth result. It's called "I need help how to creat...".

Use x2's dice. Honestly mines sloppy compared to it.

no, I just want a dice where the box around it is the same as the dice itself. that makes is a lot easier for me to do stuff with it, since I'm only using alice for less than one week now.

also, if someone knows a good way to make the dice spin around, and then show a random number at the top, i would be very gratefull. when i try it my dice almost never shows one side, but 2 or three
