I need help with this. I am trying to create my game where the cone has to travel on a specific path left or right and I want the rings to all fall from directly overhead. How do I do this? also using the event let the user move the cone. How can I specify that the cone can only be moved left or right?

The flexibility available using While key pressed events were broken by changes made in version 2.4.1 in Dec 2013, and will hopefully be repaired some day.

However, you might try using the" Let the mouse move an object" event to fix your problem. Once it's setup, just click the mouse on your cone, and move the mouse left and right.

If you are using 2.3.5, or older, then you can try making "when key pressed" events for left and right arrows, right-click to change them to a "while key pressed" events, and add move left and right commands for the cone to the "During" phase.
