Question How do I copy a parameter between methods? - 10-02-2011, 01:40 PM

How do I copy a parameter between methods?

I know it's possible because I've seen it in some example worlds, but when I try to drag a parameter to the clipboard Alice won't let me drag it back out. The textbook wasn't much help, and it's probably the only thing I need to be able to do at this point that wasn't gone over in class.

Once I've got this figured out I know how I'm going to complete my assignment -- it's the last problem I need to solve program-wise. But as the assignment is due on Friday I'd appreciate a quick response.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by copying a parameter between methods. Could you clarify?

Perhaps you should make a world variable and have a method with a parameter that sets the variable to said parameter. Then use the variable in your other methods. Does that answer the question?

Thank you for taking the time to read this signature. This signature loves you.

I just mean using the same parameter in multiple methods.
I have a feeling that I'm missing something really simple.
