Arty, at his current rate, you are probably right.

I think it is impossible for anyone to get to 5000 posts in such a time period (at least without double posting and bumping 1+ year old threads.)

I really don't think you should be actively trying to get posts, because if you do that most will just be spam or worthless stuff that someone said already. Just answers people's questions and try to be helpful and enthusiastic, it's not a contest.

I posted somewhere earlier in this thread that I am no longer going for that goal, but I would still post milestones in my post count, and that is exactly what I am doing.
