Well I most say I withdraw my previous comment.(wasn't thinking clearly after hurting my hip, falling asleep at 5 and walking up at 12 then falling asleep again at five in the morning) Just to say the whole python or jython whatever you want to call it can be used for saving games. I am suprised no one realized this earlier. I had known that this was posible for a while but didnt speak up.
P.S. I had known because I knew this type of scripting was posibe in alice after reading various threads.
EDIT: Ok, well I would like to know more about python so, Zonedabone may you please give me a crash course on python soon.

That's awesome! Definitely one of the coolest if not the coolest thing I've seen done using Alice!

I'm definitely learning me some Jy/Py-thon stuff now, too.

I'll write a course on it on my wiki, soon.

I've added an article on scripting. Currently working on it, so expect updates!

This will actually be very useful to use. I'm going to try and find some things that will make certain things go a little easier.

EDIT:

I found that if you got to the folder where you store alice, then go to Required/jython-2.1/Lib/ you can find all these .py files. Open them in notepad and you can find some code. This could be useful for finding out what makes certain things work.

Awesome! These are the Python Modules! Now I know exactly which modules Alice supports! This will surely help in making a methods database!
