Default Running Alice Programs from a CD - 09-28-2009, 12:41 AM

How would I run an alice program from a CD assuming that the computer it is being run on does not have java?

I know the following:
I would have to copy the java folder, aliceapplet.jar, and my Alice world onto a CD.
I have to link it all in a .bat file, and set that up to run with an autorun file.

But I don't have the slightest clue what I would write in the batch file, could you guys help me out?

I'm really not sure what to tell you. The system requirements for Alice 2.2 are:

Windows:
* Windows Vista, XP, or 2000
* Intel Pentium II or equivalent processor
* A VGA graphics card capable of high (16 bit) color and 1024x768 resolution (3D video card recommended)
* 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
* A sound card

Mac:
* Mac OS X 10.4+
* PowerPC or Intel processor
* A VGA graphics card capable of high (16 bit) color and 1024x768 resolution (3D video card recommended)
* 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
* A sound card

none of which outlines the Java specifications. If I were you, I'd probably just experiment with different possible solutions until one worked, or just install Java on the computer in question.
