Default Keeping distance above the ground - 08-07-2011, 07:36 AM

I made a skeleton and made a method called (skeleton.Attack)..........
I made the skeleton move to the camera but while crouching the skeleton goes below the ground (I think it is about pivot point).......
how can I keep his distance above the ground?

and another thing......
I made a subtitle (3D text near the bottom of the camera) and a health bar.....
but because of there is no collision detection when I get too close to an object the subtitle or/and health bar disappear (goes into the object)......

Make it so that it moves down (its distance above the ground). There should be an "<object> distance above" function under the object's functions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this signature. This signature loves you.

NO. I want to make the skeleton do NOT go below the ground while crouching
(doing what you are talking about will make it go below the ground even without crouching)

I can't understand.......
tell me exactly what should I do again in details please.....
I make the skeleton moves to camera but while crouching the camera distance to the ground decreases so skeleton distance does
thus, it goes under the ground

Drag in a move method from the skeleton. Then go to the skeletons functions and then click and drag the fucntions that says "skeletons distance above" function onto the the amount you want the skelton to move:

Code:
skeleton move down skelton's distance above ground
