A riddle I made.

I actually meant you worded it oddly on two counts, the entire last line (you could've just said "So have you guessed what I am yet?" or something) and the look to the cookie to discover me part (still don't get that).

Oh well.

ah, very clever indeed, im guessing the first cookies were made by putting dough under candles

instead of saying cookie, it would probably been more appropiate to say look to the begining or something like that lol, since the first cookie was never really documented, so you wouldn't know if a candle was used to make it

The whole purpose of wording it oddly was to throw you off, and the cookie symbolized the riddle so instead you could say "look to the riddle."

Okay here is another although not as good as the first....


Shield and protect
Contain and collect
are the things I must do
and I like my job because I always have a friend.
Or maybe it is because I can bend?
Sometimes it can be annoying having to hear you coo-
Now that I'm thinking about it...
maybe I should take a vacation for a bit,
and make you go "Boo-Hoo!!!"
I mean really what have you done for me
that does not help yourself, you see!
Oh, you would be reduced to everything, but you will have nothing, like goo!
Always pushed around sometimes having to do the impossible.
Yet I still do my duty even if you have to hobble!
I guess I should stop now since I have many tasks that are due,
and if you have solved this riddle maybe you do care
so I will leave you to wonder and stare.

No it is not a rooster, because a rooster does not protect you nor does it shield you, unless you are in a fight and decide to be mean and use a rooster as a meat-shield, but no I don't think so.
