Default Can I...? - 11-02-2009, 11:21 AM

Hello all!

I am a Spanish teacher in Dallas and am interested in making a review game for my students to play. My storyboard/idea has elements of a RPG and is somewhat linear in fashion. Is Alice a good choice for such a project?

Here's what I've got so far...

A student would pick a character -- Warrior/Wizard, name it, no customization, just a picture and static starting features.

They then can either go to the school house or start their first interaction in the stable. In the stable they are given a quiz (6 questions) that test their knowledge in greetings in Spanish. If they pass, the continue, otherwise, they are directed back to the school where they are given a lesson on what they missed.

Is this the sort of game Alice can handle or am I using the wrong tool?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ray

It could work easily with the gameplay elements, but the lessons may be a bit difficult/tedious to program, due to the fact that You'd have to write and display the lessons line by line instead of in one, unified document.
