Online glossary of commands

I am not sure if I am missing something. Is there within the program a place where you can look up how to use a particular method? For instance, the ice skater has a method called Set Pose. In order to figure out how to use it, I had to go online to this forum as it is not listed in the index at the end of the book.

I'm sorry you had to go to so much trouble to find out the meaning of "set pose." At the moment, there is very little documentation of the Alice software apart from the Dann, Cooper & Pausch textbook. However, you are always welcome to post your questions here. The Alice team will do our best to answer them!
