Default Moving up and down Ramps seamlessly - 02-23-2010, 09:09 PM

I'm fairly new to Alice and trying to have a skateboarder go up and down ramps while doing tricks but I can't seem to do it without having some choppy motions and having her go through the ramp.

Is there anyway to do this more easily?

I'm not sure what you're world needs, but it seems that your method is to fragmented and that you need to just do move forward and rotate if the ramps are perfectly round. Although this answer isn't really clear if you upload your world I could tell you.

I think he means just like everyone else who tried this, ramps were hard because you cant get a precise method or event to go up the ramp. If so, here is an example

Not knowing how hard this was going to be I chose a ramp and bicycle for my project. Now I got to make it all work.
Concerning the fluidness of movement, change the 'style' to abruptly. If you have it set to 'gentle' then Alice is starting and stopping the movement gently. This is very noticable if you are looping or something for continual movement.
I just read that one in the textbook yesterday.
