random movement

Ok I am working with List and Arrays and i have to create a sea world with at least 5 fish. I've figured out how to get them to move together but i need them to randomly turn in different directions and i can not figure out how to do it. Any ideas? If you have the book its in chapter 7 review Exercise 1. School of Fish plz plz help i've been trying to figure it out all day
