Default Changing the length of an object - 05-16-2007, 09:33 PM

Is there a way to change the length of an object without changing height or width?

I'm trying to make a character's dress longer, and while I can select the dress, 'resize' makes the dress bigger, rather than longer.

In the resize method for an object, if you click on “more” you have the ability to resize from “left to right”, “top to bottom” or “front to back”. There are also a couple of other options – such as resize object only and resize “like rubber” which are interesting and fun to play with, but a bit hard to explain in words – just try them and see the results or look at the attached world.

Like any of the “more” options, these are available only when you run a world. However, you can obviously do all your resizing in a single method that runs when the world starts.
