Default Reviews of Alice - 06-23-2008, 12:11 PM

Hello!

I am using Alice in a software evaluation course I'm taking this summer (I'm a graduate student in Information Science). I am looking for a few pointers to where I might find some reviews on Alice. I have looked at the Alice in the News section and found some useful articles and information. I found a couple doing a web search, but need to find some more structured reviews to supplement my final product.

I appreciate any help you can offer!

Thanks!!

I can't help you with your project, but since this is the first time that I have heard of Alice being used in a graduate course in Information Science, I sure would like to see your final evaluation product.

Thanks,

I'm not currently aware of any reviews for ALICE. However I am currently reviewing a manuscript for a soon to be published book, "Exploring Wonderland: Introduction to Java Programming Using Alice and Media Computation", Wanda Dann, Steven Cooper and Barbara Ericson.

In my opinion, Alice is definitely coming of age as a tool to teach Computer Science.

I highly recommend it.
