Default Which Characters walk? - 03-04-2009, 08:11 PM

I noted that one of the new features is 20+ characters that now know how to walk. Which ones are they? Local or Web Gallery? Is the method named walk?

Thanks

Um- OK - I'm either really tired, or hopelessly blind.

Guess they would be in the Walking people folder - DUH

Don't forget that all characters made in the character builder also come with a bunch of possible animations, including walking.

pretty much all the characters that have legs can walk. personally, i have only used the local gallery, and i know that creatures in the fantasy, people and some animals can walk.
... but that's just me.

Howdy,

Is there an easy way to make this walking feature turn into a running feature?

Thanks,

i'm not sure... it has just dawned on me that in the many months i have used alice, i have never needed to make a character run. However, i think that you can change the duration of the walk, or edit the walk method directly and save it as something else. when you edit the actual walk method, you'll probably find things like leg and arm rotations. just play around with the duration and angle settings on that and don't forget that you want the run to look natural. That's the first mistake people make. Violently swinging arms and legs in mid air are very common
