Admittedly, there is a bazilion of scenarios that can send homies on the chase for a payday loan lender willing to approve their request. When I was a postgraduate and still struggling I applied for a couple of loans (okay, understatement of a year – I took out like 5 of those in two years), and yes I was rejected two or three times. Do not expect every lender to just approve you without running through your figures. And while you don’t need to specify the purpose of taking out the loan, you sure need to present accurate information about yourself and be meticulous about it. It is not unlike applying for a job or a place to rent, you need to sell them the idea of lending money to you. This includes you having a job. A tip: include as many payslips going back as you can, 6 or more are fine even if they ask for 3. Won’t hurt, they will see your job is steady and you are not likely to lose it before repaying your debt. Look through the offers on a trusted
website to protect yourself from scammers. And be positive!
