Unhappy How to stop events - 12-04-2013, 09:54 PM

Hi everybody! i have been wanting to do a huge alice world where british soldiers are making a last stand against the enemy and i want a way to make the mouse move the soldiers before the battle so you can prepare. When the battle begins, how do you stop the mouse from moving the soldiers? is there a way to stop events?

Just use a true false variable and if statements, put your move method into an if statement, then in the variable, place if variable=true, then in game, when you finish making your preparations, have it click on on a button or something, in which then the variable turns false, so the event becomes void.

If you are stuck on a project, check out the tutorials I made here at this link:

sorry but i meant events. Not methods. what iam trying to say is how to stop an event like for example, the "let the mouse move <object> event".
