Default Pacman needed and his enemies - 11-07-2010, 07:44 PM

I'm creating a game but I don't know where to find the pacman, so I think if anyone can create a pacman for me? Just a simple 3d sphere shaped with eyes and mouth that looks like its going to eat things.

And his enemies, could be octopus like the ones you see in the games, or could be anything else reasonable, but I would prefer octopus.

If you guys create pacman games before, please tell me what you guys used for your pacman, thanks!

I have actually thought of doing a pacman game several times before. It wouldn't be too hard either, one of those games that you know is definitely possible yet still requires a little hard work, allowing you to learn along the way. I might still want to make a pacman game.

Well, anyways, you should be able to easily create a pacman by create two half-spheres that are on top of each other, the top vehicled to the bottom, and have an animation running to make them rotate (simulating the eating) while they are moving. The intersection detection and ghost AI should be harder to do, but still definitely possible. For the world you could use a 2d image of the original pacman and have the camera looking from overhead. If I have time this might be a fun program I might try, but I would still like to see your version!

Check out my best projects so far and please comment:
